Lea Michele has a dramatic Oscar de la Renta moment
The last time we saw Glee’s Lea Michele, some of our commenters speculated that perhaps she had lost some weight, and I think that her svelte silhouette at the 2010 Emmy Awards all but proves it. Good for her if she feels better or healthier that way, but I hope it wasn’t a move prompted only by Hollywood pressures. She was never even close to fat to begin with.
Whatever the case may be, she looked utterly radiant in navy Oscar de la Renta on the red carpet last night. A dress with that much volume can eat a petite girl alive sometimes, but she does an admirable job of pulling off a truly striking dress. It may have skewed a tad mature for most stars her age, but she seems to prefer grown-up options when attending formal events and this dress makes sense in context with what we’ve seen her wear to previous awards shows.
